The University of Bradford has around 140 degree courses at undergraduate level and around 80 at postgraduate level. These are spread across the 7 Academic Schools of:

Please note all of the above courses are delivered in the UK. Currently Executive MBA is the only programme available in Dubai. 

How to Apply for Courses in the UK

International Foundation Year and Undergraduate Courses

All applications for international foundation year and undergraduate courses can be submitted via our Regional Office in Dubai. The University of Bradford also offers International Foundation Year in Engineering. Our Application Checklist below will help you to stay organised. Foundation Year/Undergraduate Application Checklist

To apply for a foundation or undergraduate course you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Completed application form (dates and signed)
  • 2 references from academic tutors
  • Proof of English language qualification (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts
  • Passport copy

Submitting Your Foundation Year/Undergraduate Application

Please submit your application in one of the following ways:

Postgraduate Courses

All applications for postgraduate courses can be submitted via our Regional Office in Dubai. Alternatively, you can apply on-line . Our Application Checklist below will help you to stay organised. Postgraduate Application Checklist

To apply for a postgraduate course, you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Completed application form (dates and signed) PDF file
  • 2 references
  • Proof of English language qualification (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts
  • Passport copy

Research

All research applications can be submitted via our Regional Office in Dubai. However, prior to submitting your documents it is advisable to discuss your proposed field of research in some detail with your prospective Department. Your department should ensure that the University can provide the necessary supervision, equipment and research materials. For this to happen, the Department needs to know about your proposed research topic in some detail and also be assured that you have done some preliminary work on it.

Research Application Checklist

To apply for a research programme, you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Completed application form (signed and dated)
  • Research proposal
  • Transcripts
  • Proof of English language qualification (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • CV
  • Passport copy

Writing a Research Proposal

In addition to your completed application form and a CV, you need to provide a research proposal. This should be an outline of approximately 1,500-2,000 words, setting out the precise nature of the problem you wish to investigate. Your proposal should include a justification for your research, why the topic requires a closer look, and how it will make an original contribution to knowledge. You should describe the groundwork you have already done, and be able to show that you are familiar with the existing literature in the field, and how your work will relate to that. Finally, you should outline your proposed methodology and indicate what materials or data you will need for your research. You should also indicate how you intend to fund your studies. Your proposal should be sent to the contact name given for research in the appropriate Department.

Please note some schools, including the School of Management require an application processing fee. Please check with us for further details.
